The Waverley is the new name for Georgia Brown's and is very much a traditional pub rather than the jazz bar of yore. There are drinks promotions and sport is shown on the television, but The Waverley is much more upbeat at weekends. The pub attracts an older, almost OAP crowd to watch the horse racing during the day before becoming a focal point for the younger party crowds at weekends. Wishaw is a small town where most of the pubs are traditional so you get what you expect here.
