The world's biggest pub crawl is well underway in order to build the database for this site. We will be adding further counties to this site until our exhaustive research is complete. Phew, it's a tough job but somebody's got to do it!
A Victorian inn tucked away in a peaceful part of West Dorset. Powerstock is a picturesque village centred around a beautiful Norman church. The surrounding country side is excellent for walking, dogs are more than welcome in our guest rooms and bar. The local area is filled with plenty of interest. Powerstock can be admired from the local Humpy Castle, or Eggardon Hill, an Iron Age fort and the world heritage Jurassic coast is just 10min away.
There are three spacious double en-suite guest rooms. Two have superb views looking out over the valley, with the third ideal to make into a family room. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, colour television and hairdryers, with ironing facilities available on request. The prices are £80 per night per double room, £90 for a family room, including full English breakfast. Short breaks and single occupancy reduction available
The inn boasts a great reputation of excellent cuisine. Fresh local produce is used wherever possible, with herbs and vegetables picked daily from our ever expanding vegetable garden. An a la carte menu with specials board is served daily. Lunchtime snacks also available. Combine this with a worldwide fine wine list, sunsets over fabulous Dorset hills or the warmth of log fires and you have an enjoyable evening awaiting you.
Powerstock can be found along the Roman road off the A35 from Dorchester, take the Compton Valence turnoff and head straight for Eggardon Hill. Alternatively, take the A3066 out of Bridport and take the right turning signposted for Powerstock via West Milton.
