The world's biggest pub crawl is well underway in order to build the database for this site. We will be adding further counties to this site until our exhaustive research is complete. Phew, it's a tough job but somebody's got to do it!
The Powis Arms is an 18th century coaching inn located in the historic hamlet of Pool Quay in the beautiful county of Montgomeryshire, just North of the market town of Welshpool.
The pub is a free house and provides a selection of fine ales, ciders and lagers and good home cooked food including traditional roasts on Sundays.
Located on the Montgomery canal, the Powis Arms is popular with walkers using the towpath and you can be assured of a warm welcome.
Your hosts are Deryn and Dave Jones, who purchased the establishment in August 2007 and have made substantial renovations and improvements.
